Christ Church operates a strict Child Protection Policy/Drugs Policy

Children and young people gather in two age groups,
each Sunday at 9:30am during school term times, to make discoveries about their Christian faith

SEEKERS

Children aged 4-8 years

EXPLORERS

Young people aged 9 years and over

WHAT HAPPENS EACH SUNDAY?

SEEKERS

A short time of worship and prayer is followed by one of the children reading

a few verses of the bible. Through friendship, games, talking, listening, craft activities

and drama, they seek out God's word and Jesus' teaching.

EXPLORERS

Young people lead their own period of worship and prayer. Each Sunday a different approach is taken to

explore their faith - fellowship, discussion, bible exploration, craft.

Both groups go to Church for the second part of the Eucharist Service so that they can receive their
blessing or communion.

Sometimes Seekers and Explorers meet together for ©Godly Play.

Other occasional events:
Outings   Parties   Singing   Drama
'Jobs' in Church e.g. serving, reading, leading prayers
